Got questions?

Frequently asked questions

What happens when two archives contain the same filename?

By default, duplicates are renamed automatically: report.pdf becomes report (1).pdf. You can also choose Keep first, Replace, or Keep both.

Are folder structures preserved?

Yes. Directory hierarchies from every source archive are carried into the merged output.

Is any file uploaded during merging?

No. Merging reads and repackages archives entirely inside your browser.

Does merging recompress my files?

Entries are rebuilt with standard DEFLATE compression. Stored entries remain stored, so already-compressed content is not degraded.

Can I merge more than two archives?

Yes. You can add as many archives as your browser memory allows.
